Thika Farmstay, Thika

For those who want to take it easy away from the rambunctious city life, then Thika is a place to visit and enjoy as it has its own ecosystem independent from Nairobi. A former industrial town and recently made easily accessible by the building of Kenya’s first super highway, the town is in demand as most of the city inhabitants migrate to the outskirts in search of affordable housing. thika farmstay

With enough space to hold a conference indoors and ample grounds which border a river, this holiday home is great for groups looking for a cosy retreat to hold a meeting, conference or for some team building activities.

Rachel who is the primary host, is married with eight children and grandchildren who stay away from home while she is a social worker in the community. Some of her interests include gardening, cooking, watching TV, touring new places and involvement in the community development activities.
